I KNOW, I KNOW. It's been like.... forever (think, Sandlot. For-ev-rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) since I wrote. I've been super duper busy! I finally started in the GA Pre-K at work, which is awesome because that's what my degree is in, but then I learned that I literally got the job JUST in time to bend over and get uber fucked. Stupid governor. Stupid politics. Stupid budgets. Why can't the government just like... print more money? Isn't that what they do?
Yeah yeah, inflation. Horseshit. Anyway- Found a wedding venue, just gotta get the date. Stupid Army, you can't plan ANYTHING because you never know when he's gonna be home or not. Grumble grumble. Went apartment searching today, remembered why I HATE apartments. I knew there were good reasons. Wishing we could just get a house. Gotta figure out where we're gonna end up though. Is he gonna get a job in SC? Are we gonna move away?
You know- in high school that was ALL I wanted to do. I wanted to get out, get AWAY from this mother fucking town. Now, I like it here. I'm comfortable, I know everyone, I have built in babysitters, I don't get lost (much).... Moving away is a pretty scary idea, even if it is only 4 hours away. I'd almost rather get moved to Germany like my lucky, lucky friend Ashley. If I'm going to "travel" I want to actually SEE stuff, other than "Hey, there's the state line annnnnnnnnnnnd we're home. That was fun! Sight-seeing, eh?!?!"
I'm grumpy today. Apartment looking makes me angry. And something smells delicious downstairs, so I'm gonna check it out. This is probably a totally disorganized post... I generally have some idea of what I want to say before I sit down, this time it was totally not even up to my brain. I'm lucky if I've spelled things right. Ah well- there's your update.
